About Freya

Freya began with a familiar feeling: the pull to do it again.

After learning that Lolo Boutique — the Spokane boutique Laura Kelly originally founded more than two decades earlier — was closing, Laura felt herself being drawn back to retail. But this time, she wanted to create something new. She turned to her longtime best friend, Katie Jabara, and together they imagined Freya: a boutique rooted in friendship, experience, and a shared belief that getting dressed — and living beautifully — should still feel exciting.

Named for Freya, the Norse goddess associated with love, beauty and strength, the store was built around a simple idea: being feminine never has to mean being one thing. It can be soft with a little edge. Strong and effortless. Playful, polished, practical or expressive. It can belong to the woman building a career, the woman building a home, the woman rediscovering herself, and the woman still becoming who she wants to be.

That is why Freya extends beyond the wardrobe. Our collection moves from thoughtfully selected clothing, denim and accessories to home goods, beauty, fragrance, gifts and travel essentials — pieces for the busy days, the slow mornings, the trips away and the moments spent at home. Everything is chosen with an eye toward quality, character, wearability and the little details that make everyday life feel more considered.
